Our friend, Ale has an opening at Casa Electrolux in Sao Paulo, Brazil and it looks to be amazing as per all things, Ale!
Ale Jordao:
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Ale Jordao’s art reconfigures and appropriates daily objects from furniture, skateboards to neon signs and rethinks their purpose through his intellectual and emotional design process. Ale vocalizes his own brand of humor and social commentary throughout his works and ultimately with his finished, functional and beautiful pieces. As an example, Ale turns entire Volkswagen cars into beautiful tables, chairs, and other daily objects allowing engagement and interaction with his work. Ale studied at Domus Academy in Milan Italy and is currently making mind-blowing art in his studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil. – ykc
