Job Title: Sales & Operations Manager
We’re currently seeking an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to lead the continued growth of Permanent Distribution Co. Qualified candidates must be self-starting Leaders who are familiar with building new brands, developing strategies, generating sales, and refining operations. This means someone confident in accounting software, order-entry and inventory systems, and managing multiple levels of operations within an independent brand house.
RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DESCRIPTION

- Develop a strategic Sales Plan to increase sales volume for each brand within Permanent Distribution
- Oversee the integration and improvement of operational software and processes including Inventory systems, 3PL processes, etc.
- Regularly interact with existing and potential retailers, offering thoughtful product assortments and partnership incentives
- Set up appointments for face-to-face presentations and/or virtual line showings via email or phonecall
- Manage inventory and order-entry procedures, offering guidance on ways to improve these processes
- Continually monitor inventory needs of accounts while providing solutions as challenges arise. Work closely with retailers to obtain and process fill-in or at-once orders and collect pro-book orders prior to each seasonal booking deadline (if applicable)
- Establish dependable relationships with store employees, overseeing product clinics and communicating brand stories to sales associates
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives
- Work closely with retailers to ensure payments are properly submitted
- Manage the Authorized Dealer Database, certifying the accuracy of contact information and updating it regularly
- Communicate clearly and frequently with Permanent to convey overall sales and operational performance
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building new brands through focused sales efforts and refined operations
- Experience working in leadership-level variable pay rate positions and the ability to maintain consistent levels of motivation through goal setting
- Strong understanding and respect for skateboarding culture and ability to communicate with hardgoods buyers
- Minimum of 3-5 years management experience within this industry
- Must have ability to analyze profitability and other financial data and make decisions based that data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe PDF, and email
- Experience in Quickbooks and other business management software
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle all account needs and process necessary documentation (e.g. sending digital catalogs, order forms, invoices, purchase orders, payment collection documentation, etc.)
